360° virtual tour or 3D tour: what is the difference?

Both let people look around your venue online. They do not let them do the same things. Here is what separates them, and how to choose.

 360° tour3D tour
CaptureLinked panoramic photographsSpatial representation from depth data or reconstruction
NavigationMovement between capture positionsNavigation depends on the engine and captured data
Plans and measurementsIllustrated plans are possible; a photograph alone does not establish measurementsPossible depending on capture, software and achieved accuracy
InteractionHotspots, media, information cards and booking links are possibleThe web interface can add the same features
ChoiceShow spaces through a panoramic journeyAddress a specific spatial requirement, verified in a demonstration

Capture and interface are separate choices

A photographic 360-degree tour can show multiple rooms, videos, product information and contact links. These interactions come from the software and interface; they do not, on their own, require a 3D scan.

Compare a concrete scope

Ask for a mobile demonstration and a quotation covering capture, navigation, rights, hosting and integrations. Verify plans and measurements for their intended use. A WhatsApp request still needs confirmation by the venue.

Everything about the immersive web app.

How is the price of an immersive web app calculated?

Pricing is quoted for the venue, pages, languages and integrations. Recurring fees and options must be specified before approval.

How long does it take to create and publish my web app?

Timing depends on scope, access and content approval. A delivery date is agreed in the quotation.

Will I own the 360° images after delivery?

Image rights, source files, hosting and portfolio use must be agreed in the quotation and contract before production.
