A video is a distribution format: it lives on Instagram, TikTok or YouTube, is watched in 30 seconds and creates desire. A 360° virtual tour is a decision format: it lives on your website, your Google Business Profile and your WhatsApp messages, and answers the questions someone asks right before booking - how big is the room, is the terrace covered, where is the stage.
In Morocco, most venues that hesitate already have videos. What they lack is the next step: a place where the customer looks, checks and acts without calling. That is what the tour - and the application built on it - brings.
Comparison
| Video | 360° virtual tour | |
|---|---|---|
| What the visitor controls | Nothing: they watch an edit | Everything: where to go and how long to stay |
| Lifespan | A few weeks in the feeds | Years, on your site and your Google listing |
| Possible actions | A link in the description | Book, write on WhatsApp, read the menu, open directions from the relevant space |
| Updates | A new shoot | Copy, menu and prices editable any time; a new capture only if the venue changes |
| Search visibility | On the video platform | A page of your own site, with its copy, photos and address |
| Best for | Getting attention | Turning attention into bookings |
When video is enough
You are launching an event, a new menu or a promotion: a short format shared on social media does the job. Keep the tour for what does not change - the venue itself.
When the tour makes the difference
Customers call to ask the same questions, you sell a space (room, hall, terrace, desk) or a decision is made remotely: the tour answers before the call, and the booking button is already there. Your existing videos also find their place in the application, next to the tour.
